THURSDAY AUGUST 15 ’13 Sunny and chirpy. That’s how everyone felt when they arrived. Nothing scary on the tables. Unless cacti are scary! A cute trio of Mexican red and yellow cacti with tiny wee prickles that wouldn’t hurt a flea. Sitting with a fat dove garden ornament. Other table. Nice square bowl of succulents. Sketching Together

Glass, Stone, Ceramics and a Birthday

THURSDAY JUNE 13’13 Gorgeous day and none of the pouring rain Wednesday’s class got. We are doing old glass & stone jars and bottles, with a tiny lustrous Satsuma porcelain dish tossed in. All collected over the years and all with a story. The colours needed to be soft and translucent and pick up the touches of reflected colour nearby.
